These terms apply to every tour, activity and service booked with Luxe Dunes Travel and Tourism L.L.C. (“Luxe Dunes”, “we”, “us”) through luxedunestours.com, WhatsApp, phone or email. By making a booking you agree to them.
1. Bookings and confirmation
A booking is confirmed once we send you a confirmation by email or WhatsApp. Please check that the date, time, number of guests and pickup location are correct and tell us straight away if anything needs to change.
Please give us your correct hotel or pickup address and a phone number reachable on WhatsApp. We are not responsible for a missed pickup caused by wrong or incomplete details.
2. Prices and payment
All prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED) and include VAT where applicable. Prices on the website may change without notice, but the price confirmed at the time of booking will not change. Optional extras such as quad bikes, dune buggies, photos or drinks are paid separately unless included in your booking.
3. Cancellation and refund policy
- Desert safari tours: cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time for a full refund.
- All other tours (city tours, Abu Dhabi tours, dhow cruises, Musandam, hot air balloon and others): cancel at least 3 days (72 hours) before the tour start time for a full refund.
- Cancellations made later than these times, and no-shows, are not refundable.
- Tickets bought for third-party attractions (for example museum or theme park tickets) may follow that attraction’s own rules.
To cancel, contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email with your booking details. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. The time for the money to reach your account depends on your bank or card provider.
4. Changes and cancellations by us
We may change or cancel a tour because of bad weather, sandstorms, government instructions, safety concerns or other events outside our control. If we cancel, you can choose a new date or a full refund.
5. Pickup and timings
Pickup times are approximate and can vary with traffic. Please be ready in your hotel lobby at the time given in your confirmation. If you are not ready, the vehicle may have to leave to keep the schedule for other guests, and this counts as a no-show.
6. Health and safety
- Dune bashing and quad biking are not recommended for pregnant women, people with back, neck or heart problems, or anyone with a medical condition that could be affected by a bumpy ride.
- Children must be with an adult at all times. Infants may not need a seat; please tell us their ages when booking.
- Please follow your guide and driver’s safety instructions. We may refuse to let anyone take part if their behaviour puts them or others at risk.
- Alcohol is not served during Ramadan or on days set by the government.
7. Liability
We use licensed drivers, insured vehicles and trusted partners. Desert and outdoor activities carry some natural risk, and you take part at your own choice. We are not responsible for loss of or damage to personal belongings, or for delays caused by traffic, weather or other events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under UAE consumer law.
8. Photos
We may take photos during tours for our website and social media. If you prefer not to appear, just tell your guide.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai.
